This project was definitely not simple, but our team and our wonderful clients remained dedicated and consistent. A large renovation in a very old Westmount home comes with challenges ranging from permits and regulatory limitations to old structural bones and some unexpected surprises along the way.

Along with a full, beautiful renovation to update this bathroom, we also did a full remodel of the master bedroom with closets and a home office. More pics to come!

We love the unique custom panel and the island design that our clients chose for this beautiful classic kitchen, and we love the touch of colour but in this particular case, our clients weren’t completely in love with it so we repainted it (darker colour in second slide)! We are in love with how this Westmount renovation turned out! We focused on style while optimizing storage and useful surfaces in their kitchen by building an incredible butler’s pantry. Our Reno team managed and worked on the entire renovation and our fabrication team built the gorgeous bespoke cabinetry in our wood shop. Working with a GC who has their own woodshop definitely has its advantages!

Our Outremont clients wanted a fresh look on his 20 year old imported metal Italian kitchen.

We worked with them to design the new concept and come up with the look that they were after. The age and specifics of the existing kitchen made this remodel particularly challenging. We needed to ensure that each and every piece was catalogued and tracked. The results are beautiful and our meticulous work definitely paid off.

We are so lucky to work with such wonderful clients and to get the chance to have these special and meaningful projects.

Sometimes our clients don’t understand the full scope of what custom cabinetry means. Most think it simply means made to measure but the benefits are so much more than that when you’re working with a GC who fabricates all their own wood work. At KWF we design and build all of our cabinetry in-house. We work with our clients as a team to come up with a plan to optimize the standard design and make the most of each of their preferences and selections. Some of the extras can include custom lighting, using hardware to optimize the space like sliding shelves or under cabinet storage, false backs for safes and hidden storage, and so much more. In this entry we built a custom built in to optimize hidden storage for a clean and decluttered surface.
